Light-curing Ionosit Baseliner combines the properties of a glass ionomer and a composite, with active ingredients that effectively counteract margin gap formations and reduce post-operative sensitivities. How does it work? The baseliner expands by approximately 1% and counteracts the polymerization shrinkage stress of the shrunken composite by creating a reaction zone. This reaction zone prevents the formation of marginal gaps and associated bacterial penetration.
