How long should Kolorz ClearShield varnish be left on the tooth?
The varnish should be left for at least 4 hours after being applied to the tooth surface. The patient should refrain from eating hard foods, hot liquids and alcoholic beverages, brushing his or her teeth, using dental floss, alcohol-based mouthwash solutions during this time. Soft foods such as yogurt or bananas are permitted.
Is one Single Dose of Kolorz ClearShield Varnish enough for one application?
There is enough material in the single unit of Kolorz ClearShield Varnish for a complete application.
Can Kolorz products be used on children?
Kolorz can be used in children if control of the swallowing reflex can be ensured. This is the case for most children aged about 6.
Do Kolorz hygiene products all contain fluoride?
Yes, Kolorz ClearShield Varnish contains 5% sodium Fluoride Varnish with 22,600 ppm.
Are fluorides toxic?
Fluorides are the most highly studied substances in the world. More than 300,000 scientific studies do not pose any threat to health when used in the correct way. The strong caries decline in Germany is attributable, among other things, to the fluoride application. According to scientific investigations, the “toxicity” of the fluorides is almost 10 times lower than that of table salt. Does Kolorz ClearShield Varnish contain menthol?
Menthol is contained in the paste in the flavor mint.
Do toddler’s teeth need to be dried individually before applying varnish?
Excess saliva should be removed from the application area. Commonly, gauze is used for this. The varnish can then be applied to the dried tooth.
Does Kolorz ClearShield Varnish contain peanut, soy, wheat, eggs, fish, shellfish, dairy or gluten?

Are there any special instructions for disposing of ClearShield?
In small amounts, Kolorz ClearShield Varnish can be disposed of regularly. For large quantities (i.e. pallot or larger) please consult your local state regulations.
