Why is the RDA value of Kolorz pastes not indicated?
The measuring method is very imprecise for determination of an RDA value to be possible. The results are not reproducible, which makes an assessment of whether a paste is abrasive or not impossible. A good comparison is the different pressure to the pen when writing.
Consequently, an RDA value is not indicated for Kolorz pastes. Instead, a range is specified in which the values lie: Fine: 0-40; Medium: 40-120; Coarse: > 120.
What are Tooth Mousse, MI Paste Plus and Remin Pro all about?
Tooth Mousse and the others are used for remineralization, not fluoridation. That is a major difference. Remineralized products contain ingredients like phosphate and calcium that occur in natural tooth substance. They should improve small defects by incorporating these ingredients into the tooth substance. Fluoridation agents are used to attach fluoride to a tooth to make it more resistant. These products cannot therefore be compared with Kolorz or other competing products.
